Two male Barton DNA Project participants with matching ySTR DNA have established this line as Lineage XIX. This is one of our Barton families with a single ancestor:

  • Thomas Barton born about 1780 Faquier Co., Virginia married Sarah "Sally" Drummond on 23 Feb 1808. Thomas died after January 1871.
