1485: Christofer was to marry Margaret daughter of William Singleton of Broughton, p 30.
Christofer Barton had issue Gilbet, William, Thomas, Christofer; Agnes, Margaret, Clemence, and Constance. p-31
1499: Indenture --- Christofer Barton & Margaret his wife, gave 100li. to have the wardship and marriage of Gilbert his son and heir then under age and gave 40 marks towards payment of lthe debts of his father Gilbert.
Christofer was in difficulties owing to the debts and outlawry of his father. At the date of this deed, his financial position had improved. pp 81, 82, 86

One record gives marriage abt 14 Nov 1500, but that must have been the marriage of his son Gilbert because it would be impossible with the Christofer dying before 1505 and having 8 children!
Christofer died in or before 1505 when Gilbert his son was sued by William Ireland and Clemence his wife (Gilbert's sister) in respect of her dower, p 31.
