He had issue: Gilbert, his heir; Isabel wife to Adam Fishwick of Fishwich, from who she was divorced; Margaret; Johan who shared Kidsnape with her sister (maybe wife of William Clifton in 1444).
MARRIAGE: The settlement by Thomas Barton upon Margaret Kighley on her marriage to Gilbert his son is notable for the clause annulling the grant if, after the marriage, a divorce should occur. p 74
