We may gather that his son John, the husband of katherine Traver, was now dead. Sir John himself died soon after this date, as we find his grandson in possession of the estates in 1356.

William held land in Goosnargh which reverted on the death of his son to Sir John his brother. William died before 1334 when his widow Isoult, then wife of Adam of Walay (2nd marriage) claimed dower in Goosnargh.
